Drainage membrane specifically developed in Norway for use as a drainage layer for Scandinavian-style pitched green roofs (also known as sod roofs or turf roofs). This type of green roof is simple to construct and is traditionally found on rural log homes throughout Scandinavia.

Oldroyd Xv Green is applied on top of roofing felt using Oldroyd Turf Roof Plugs. An edging detail is formed using Oldroyd Turf Roof Hooks and pre-treated timber. Turf is traditionally laid directly on top of the membrane, however other green roof plantings (e.g. wildflower, sedum) can also be used – call our technical department on 01403 210204 for details.

Application guidelines can be downloaded below.

Note: Oldroyd Xv Green is intended for use on pitched green roofs. For flat or low-pitched green roofs, Oldroyd Xv20 GreenXtra should be considered.
