Protimeter BLE (BLD2025)
The Protimeter BLE is built for straightforward, real-world moisture monitoring in buildings. Itโs a small, battery-powered logger you can leave in place to track relative humidity, temperature, and moisture content over time, helping you understand whether a space is drying, holding moisture, or drifting into conditions that can cause problems.
What Protimeter BLE Measures
This logger records three key indicators that matter on damp investigations and drying work:
Relative Humidity (RH) from 0โ100% (non-condensing), temperature across site-friendly ranges, and moisture content in wood (plus WME readings in other building materials). Itโs designed for use with wood, drywall, and general building materials.
Where Protimeter BLE Fits On Site
For trade users, itโs a practical way to keep an eye on a buildingโs โmoisture healthโ without repeatedly revisiting the same spot to take manual notes. For DIY users, itโs a helpful tool when you want evidence that conditions are improving after a leak, repair, or ventilation change. Itโs also useful as an early warning device for conditions that can lead to mould, and for longer-term monitoring where protecting the building fabric (or sensitive contents) matters.
Logging & The App Workflow
Pairing is done via Bluetooth, then you choose the logging interval in the Protimeter BLE App. The device can store up to 1,000 readings, so you can set it for short-term checks or longer-term trending, then review the data through the app. There are no monthly fees, so once youโve got the logger you can keep using it as often as you need.
Durability & Mounting
The Protimeter BLE is rated IP65 (dust protected and protected against water jets), making it suitable for tough environments where other loggers struggle. Itโs compact and light, and it comes with two mounting screws so it can be fixed in place where you want the data captured.
Power & Battery
The unit runs on a replaceable CR2450 battery. Battery life depends on the interval you set in the app, and can exceed one year in typical use.
Things To Know Before You Place It
Like most humidity sensors, prolonged exposure to very high humidity and dew-point conditions can mean the sensor may take longer to recover back to normal operation. For best results, place it where it represents the conditions youโre trying to understand, and allow time for readings to stabilise after major environmental changes.
Warranty
Protimeter offers a 1-year warranty covering mechanical or manufacturing parts (excluding wear parts/accessories).
