Drill pilot holes through both masonry leaves to the required depth and diameter.
7mm ties: 5mm pilot hole
8mm ties: 5.5 – 6.5mm pilot hole
9mm ties: 6 – 7mm pilot hole
Fixing Tool Setup
Attach the BrickFix DriveTie Fixing Tool to the SDS rotary hammer drill. Place the helical wall tie into the tool.
Driving the Wall Tie
Position the tie into the pre-drilled pilot hole and use the hammer action of the drill to drive the tie into the masonry.
