Oldroyd Overseal Tapes are used for sealing over joints between Oldroyd cavity drain membranes and other materials. They can also be used for sealing around services and “difficult” details.
Where enhanced protection is required (e.g. when protecting against ground gases such as radon), Oldroyd Overseal Tapes can be used in conjunction with Oldroyd Double-Sided Sealing Tape to provide a double-seal.
Typically the 75 mm width Overseal Tape is used for sealing butt joints and overlaps. The 200 mm wide Overseal Tape is generally used for sealing flange joints on the floor.
A special Fleece Overseal Tape (115 mm width) is also available. This has been developed for use in conjunction with Oldroyd Xp Plaster Membrane – allowing better adhesion of plaster than is possible using standard Overseal Tapes.
