If you’ve got external walls taking a hammering from wind-driven rain, the problem is often simple: porous masonry absorbs water, then holds onto it. Dryseal Masonry Waterproofing Cream (3L) is designed to reduce that absorption. It forms a water-repellent barrier inside the pores, helping stop rainwater soaking in, while still allowing water vapour to escape so the wall can “breathe”.

This makes it especially useful on properties with cavity fill insulation, where keeping the outer leaf drier can help reduce the risk of saturation and improve overall performance.

What Makes Dryseal Masonry Waterproofing Cream Different From A Typical Liquid Water Repellent

Dryseal is a thixotropic cream rather than a thin liquid. In real terms, that means:

• It’s easier to control on vertical surfaces,
• You can usually achieve the correct loading in one working operation, and
• It’s less prone to mess and run-off than many traditional water-repellent liquids.

It applies white so you can see your coverage, then dries clear/colourless and won’t stain the masonry.

Dryseal is used as a masonry protection cream for external walls to help reduce:

• Damage linked to water and pollutants,
• Frost/salt related deterioration in vulnerable masonry.

Dryseal Masonry Waterproofing Cream Application

Dryseal is applied undiluted by brush, roller, or low-pressure spray.
Depending on porosity, an application rate of up to 0.2 L/m² can be applied in one go without material loss.

Drying / weather performance: it becomes effective after drying (around 3 hours) and rain resistance is normally achieved within 3 hours.
Full cure: up to 2 weeks, depending on conditions.

3 litres covers up to 25m² (1 coat) – but this is heavily dependent on substrate porosity, so a 1-2m² trial area is the best way to calculate your real-world coverage.
